Dieses wunderschöne Koga Miyata "Proracer" von 1986 war Mitte der Achtziger Jahre neben dem "Full Pro" das Topmodell bei Koga. Aufgebaut natürlich ebenfalls mit der top Shimano Dura Ace 7400 Gruppe und den AX Bremshebeln.

Ich bin selber lange ein Koga Miyata als „Winterrad" mit Schutzblechen und Gepäckträger für den täglichen Gebrauch bei jedem (schlechten) Wetter gefahren und war / bin schwer begeistert vom Komfort und der Laufruhe der Rahmen. Die Verarbeitungsqualität, die die Rahmen haben, sind schon beeindruckend. Nicht umsonst hat man eine lebenslange Garantie auf den Rahmen vom Hersteller erhalten. Irgendwie habe ich in den letzten Jahren eher wenige Kogas angeboten. Oftmals werden die Räder als „Massenware" abgetan und viele meiner Kunden wünschten sich dann doch eher den Italiener mit Campa Gruppe. Wenn es um Qualität geht, braucht sich solch ein Rad allerdings keineswegs hinter einem großen italienischen Rahmen zu verstecken. Die Geometrie, die Winkel des Rahmens und die Lötqualität sind hier wirklich hervorragend. Auch die Lackierungen, der Kogas aus der Zeit, findet man in der vielschichtigen Art selten bei anderen Marken. Das Perlmutt dieser Lackierung ist auch sehr schön. Dieser Proracer hier stammt nun aus dem Jahre 1986 - kommt aus erster Hand und wurde bisher nicht viel gefahren. Der Dura Ace Aufbau entspricht exakt dem aus dem ´86 Katalog. Also mit der 7400 Gruppe inkl. Vorbau und Sattelstütze, aber den AX Bremshebel, die es erlaubten die Züge aerodynamisch im Lenker zu verlegen.

Dieses Rad ist vollständig original erhalten und in einem brillanten Zustand. Ein perfektes Rad zum Fahren. Hier spürt man sofort den extrem komfortablen Geradeauslauf, den einem dieses Rad vermittelt - besonders schön ist es dazu auch noch.

Ein toller Klassiker, mit dem man auch die Eroica fahren kann!

This beautiful Koga Miyata "Proracer" from 1986 was in the mid-eighties next to the "Full Pro" the top model at Koga. Built of course also with the top Shimano Dura Ace 7400 group and the AX brake levers.

I myself have long driven a Koga Miyata as a "winter bike" with mudguards and rack for daily use in any (bad) weather and was / am heavily inspired by the comfort and smoothness of the frame. The quality of workmanship that have the frames are already impressive. Not for nothing has received a lifetime warranty on the frame from the manufacturer. Somehow I have offered rather few Kogas in recent years. Often the wheels are dismissed as "mass-produced" and many of my customers wanted then but rather the Italian with Campa group. When it comes to quality, however, such a wheel does not need to hide behind a large Italian frame. The geometry, the angles of the frame and the brazing quality are really excellent here. The paint jobs, of the period Kogas, are also rarely found in the multi-layered kind on other brands. The mother of pearl of this paint job is also very nice. This Proracer here is now from 1986 - comes from first hand and has not been driven much.The Dura Ace setup is exactly the same as in the '86 catalog. So with the 7400 group including stem and seatpost, but the AX brake levers, which allowed the cables to be routed aerodynamically in the handlebars.

This bike is completely original preserved and in brilliant condition. A perfect bike to ride. Here you can immediately feel the extremely comfortable straight line running that this bike gives you - it's particularly beautiful to boot.

A great classic with which you can also ride the Eroica!
