Tolles Guerciotti aus den späten Neunziger mit Columbus EL Rahmen und kompletter Campagnolo Chorus Gruppe in 57cm

Die italienische Marke Guerciotti wurde 1964 in Mailand von Italo Guerciotti und seinem Bruder Paolo Guerciotti gegründet. Was als kleiner Fahrradladen begann, entwickelte sich rasch zu einer renommierten Rennradmarke mit enger Verbindung zum Profisport. Bereits in den 1970er Jahren waren Guerciotti Räder im internationalen Peloton vertreten und trugen zu bedeutenden Erfolgen bei, unter anderem beim Giro d'Italia.

In den 1970er bis frühen 1990er Jahren lag der Schwerpunkt klar auf hochwertigen Stahlrahmen. Diese wurden in klassischer Muffenbauweise gefertigt und häufig aus edlen Rohren von Columbus aufgebaut. Die Rahmen überzeugten durch elegante Linien, sorgfältige Verarbeitung und ein ausgewogenes, lebendiges Fahrverhalten. Guerciotti verband sportliche Leistungsfähigkeit mit italienischer Handwerkskunst und stilvoller Lackierung. Mit dem Aufkommen von Aluminium und später Carbon erweiterte Guerciotti sein Programm. Die Stahlrahmen aus den siebziger bis neunziger Jahren gelten jedoch bis heute als Ausdruck einer besonders traditionsreichen Phase der Marke.

Das hier vorgestellte Guerciotti ist einer der letzten im Hause gefertigten Stahlrahmen aus den späten neunziger Jahren. Gefertigt aus extra leichten Columbus EL Rohren, mit eleganter Zugverlegung um das Steuerrohr und vielen schönen kleinen Details. Sämtliche Rohrformen sind angepasst, die Kettenstreben fast kantig ausgeführt, um optimale Steifigkeit in den Rahmen zu bringen. Lackiert wurde der Rahmen bei Carlo Dossena in Italien. Dossena Lackierungen stehen immer für etwas Besonderes, für Liebe zum Detail und für eine gewisse italienische Extravaganz.

Aufgebaut ist das Rad mit einer kompletten Campagnolo Chorus 9‑fach Gruppe. Diese Gruppe arbeitet perfekt und braucht sich hinter der Campagnolo Record nicht zu verstecken. Die Gruppe befindet sich in einem nahezu perfekten Zustand. Der Rahmen hat einige Gebrauchsspuren, die vom Vorbesitzer ausgebessert wurden.

Dies ist ein Rad, das definitiv gefahren werden möchte. Ein Rad, mit dem man auch heute noch schnell unterwegs sein kann. Ein Stahlrahmen mit wunderbaren Fahreigenschaften und einer typisch italienischen Lackierung vom Meister Carlo Dossena.

This is a beautiful Guerciotti from the late 1990s, built with a Columbus EL steel frame and a complete Campagnolo Chorus groupset in size 57 cm.

The Italian brand Guerciotti was founded in 1964 in Milan by Italo Guerciotti and his brother Paolo Guerciotti. What began as a small bicycle shop quickly developed into a renowned racing bike brand with close ties to professional cycling. As early as the 1970s, Guerciotti bicycles were present in the international peloton and contributed to major successes, including at the Giro d'Italia.

From the 1970s through the early 1990s, the focus was clearly on high-quality steel frames. These were produced using classic lugged construction and were often built from fine tubing by Columbus. The frames impressed with elegant lines, meticulous craftsmanship, and a balanced, lively ride quality. Guerciotti combined sporting performance with Italian craftsmanship and stylish paintwork. With the rise of aluminum and later carbon, Guerciotti expanded its range, but the steel frames from the 1970s to the 1990s are still regarded today as an expression of one of the brand's most traditional eras.

The Guerciotti presented here is one of the last steel frames produced in-house in the late 1990s. It is made from extra-light Columbus EL tubing and features elegant cable routing around the head tube along with many beautiful small details. All tube shapes are custom-adapted, and the chainstays are almost angular in design to achieve optimal frame stiffness. The frame was painted in Italy by Carlo Dossena. Dossena paint jobs have always stood for something special—attention to detail and a certain Italian extravagance.

The bike is built with a complete Campagnolo Chorus 9-speed groupset. This groupset works perfectly and does not need to hide behind the Campagnolo Record. It is in near-perfect condition. The frame shows some signs of use, which were touched up by the previous owner.

This is a bike that definitely wants to be ridden—a bike that is still fast even by today's standards. A steel frame with wonderful ride characteristics and a typically Italian paint finish by master painter Carlo Dossena.
