Cinelli "Supercorsa" Rahmen 1989 aus Columbus SLX - 53cm c-c - Originalzustand 

Cinelli – wohl eine der traditionsreichsten italienischen Marken im Radsport überhaupt! Kurz nachdem Cino Cinelli 1948 seine Rahmenbauwerkstatt in Mailand eröffnet hatte, stellte er das Modell „SC" bzw. „Supercorsa" vor, das zeitweise auch als „Speciale Corsa" bezeichnet wurde. Wesentliche Merkmale des Rahmens – wie der Gabelkopf mit den abfallenden Schultern und die zwischen den Sitzstreben integrierte Sattelklemmung – sind seitdem ein unverwechselbares Erkennungszeichen des Modells geblieben.

Damit ist der *Supercorsa* der am längsten produzierte Rennradrahmen überhaupt.

Eine kurze Beschreibung und Historie des Rahmens findet sich auch auf der Cinelli-Website. Eine wesentliche Veränderung erfuhr das Modell 1979, nachdem Cinelli vom damaligen Columbus-Chef Antonio Colombo übernommen wurde. Colombo ließ vom weltberühmten Designer Italo Lupi ein neues Logo entwerfen. Seitdem ist das geflügelte „C" eines der bekanntesten Markenzeichen in der Fahrradwelt – und zugleich ein charakteristisches Detail des Supercorsa.

Eine bedeutende technische Neuerung war Anfang der 1980er-Jahre die Umstellung von gepressten Muffen auf präzisere Feingussmuffen. Weitere kleinere Modifikationen betrafen in den folgenden Jahren die Zugverlegung und das Rahmenmaterial. An der grundsätzlichen Bauweise des Rahmens hat sich jedoch nichts geändert. Der Supercorsa wird noch heute von einem erfahrenen Rahmenbauer in der Nähe von Mailand gefertigt – in 17 verschiedenen Größen. Auch eine Bahnversion ist erhältlich.

Mein Supercorsa-Rahmen stammt aus erster Hand und wurde 1989 gefertigt – aus Columbus SLX-Rohren. Die Zugverlegung erfolgt noch klassisch auf dem Oberrohr. Das Tretlager weist bereits die berühmte Spoiler-Muffe auf.

Der Rahmen hat eine Größe von 53 cm, gemessen von Mitte zu Mitte, und 54 cm bis zur Oberkante. Das Oberrohr misst 54 cm in der Länge.

Cinelli "Supercorsa" Frame 1989 made of Columbus SLX – 53 cm c-c – Original Condition

Cinelli – arguably one of the most iconic and tradition-rich Italian brands in the world of cycling! Shortly after Cino Cinelli opened his frame-building workshop in Milan in 1948, he introduced the "SC" or "Supercorsa" model, which was at times also referred to as the "Speciale Corsa." Key design elements of the frame – such as the fork crown with sloping shoulders and the seat clamp integrated between the seat stays – have remained unmistakable features of this model ever since.

The *Supercorsa* is thus the longest-produced road racing frame of all time.

A short description and history of the frame can also be found on the Cinelli website. A significant change came in 1979 when Cinelli was taken over by Antonio Colombo, head of the tubing manufacturer Columbus. Colombo commissioned world-renowned designer Italo Lupi to create a new logo for Cinelli. Since then, the winged "C" has become one of the most recognized trademarks in the cycling world – and a defining feature of the Supercorsa.

A major technical innovation came in the early 1980s, when the frame design shifted from pressed lugs to more precise investment cast lugs. Other minor modifications in the years that followed included cable routing updates and changes to the frame material. However, the fundamental construction of the frame has remained unchanged. The Supercorsa is still handmade today by an experienced frame builder near Milan – offered in 17 different sizes. A track version is also available.

My Supercorsa frame is from first ownership and was built in 1989 using Columbus SLX tubing. The cable routing still follows the classic path over the top tube. The bottom bracket already features the iconic "spoiler" lug.

The frame measures 53 cm center-to-center and 54 cm to the top. The top tube length is 54 cm.
