Oh ja! In diesen Klassiker habe ich mich auf den ersten Blick verliebt. Das Rad stammt aus einer Sammlung und wurde nie gefahren! Wahnsinn - 31 Jahre unberührt - perfekter Zustand! Der Casati Settantenario Rahmen ist meines Wissens nach auf 200 Stück limitiert. Dieser trägt die Seriennummer 139. Casati baut übrigens nach wie vor hochwertige Rahmen, viele auch aus Stahl. Die Webseite ist auch ganz hübsch anzusehen.

Der Rahmen ist aus dem besten Columbus Rohrsatz, dem Max gefertigt. Dieser ist sowohl optisch als auch technisch wirklich besonders. Die Rohre des Rahmens sind anfangs rund, werden dann zum Ende hin oval. Auch der Durchmesser der Rohre verändert sich. Dies ist auf den Bildern gar nicht so gut zu erkennen. Live, also wenn man vor dem Rahmen steht, erkennt man seine ganze Schönheit. Der Rahmen ist der Wahnsinn. Alleine die Anlehnung der Sitzstreben ans Sattelrohr - ein Traum. Dazu kommt dann noch diese perlmuttartige Lackierung, die ihre ganze Schönheit in der Sonne präsentiert. Der Rahmen ist einer der Schönsten, den ich je in Händen halten durfte. Ein Meisterwerk.

Aufgebaut ist dieses Rad mit der damals gerade neu erschienenen Shimano Dura Ace Gruppe mit den ersten STI der Dura Ace Generation. Die Eleganz der Gruppe passt sehr schon zum Understatement des Casati Rahmens.

Wer meine Seite schon etwas länger verfolgt, erinnert sich vielleicht daran, dass ich schon einmal diesen Rahmen hatte, damals jedoch mit einer C-Record Gruppe inkl. Delata Bremsen aufgebaut - ich muss sagen, dass mir die dann doch eher schlichte Dura Ace fast besser gefällt. Auf den schönen Wolber TX Profil Felgen sind noch die originalen Conti Reifen moniert, wer das Rad wirklich fahren möchte, dem montiere ich gerne ein paar neu Clincher.

Ein Rad in diesem Zustand zu finden ist Wahnsinn. Ein Kunstwerk für die Wand, (eine Kapitalanlage, wenn man sich die Preisentwicklung der Räder ansieht), oder einfach um die Blicke eines jeden anderen Radfahrers auf sich zu ziehen.

Ich glaube, jeder Besucher meines Landes ist begeistert von dieser Maschine.

Das Rad ist einfach ein Traum.

Oh yes! I fell in love with this classic at first sight. The bike comes from a collection and was never ridden! Awesome - 31 years untouched - perfect condition! The Casati Settantenario frame is limited to 200 pieces as far as I know. This one has the serial number 139. Casati still builds high quality frames by the way, many also in steel. The website is also quite nice to look at.

The frame is made from the best Columbus tube set, the Max. This one is really special both visually and technically. The tubes of the frame start out round, then become oval towards the end. The diameter of the tubes also changes. This is not so good to see in the pictures. Live, so when you stand in front of the frame, you can see all its beauty. The frame is insane. Alone the contact of the seat stays to the seat tube - a dream. In addition, there is then this pearlescent paint, which presents all its beauty in the sun. The frame is one of the most beautiful I was ever allowed to hold in my hands. A masterpiece.

Built this bike with the then just released Shimano Dura Ace group with the first STI of the Dura Ace generation. The elegance of the group fits very already to the understatement of the Casati frame.

Those who have been following my site for a while may remember that I already had this frame, but at that time built with a C-Record group including Delata brakes - I must say that I like the then but rather plain Dura Ace almost better. On the beautiful Wolber TX profile rims are still mounted the original Conti tires, who really wants to drive the wheel, I like to mount a few new clinchers.

To find a wheel in this condition is madness. A work of art for the wall, (a capital investment if you look at the price development of the wheels), or simply to attract the eyes of any other cyclist.

I think every visitor to my country is thrilled with this machine.

The bike is simply a dream.
