Wunderschönes Gianni Motta Personal Rad aus dem Jahre 1984 mit einer Campagnolo Super Record Gruppe - 56cm

Gianni Motta ist ein ehemaliger Profi Radsportler, der u.a den Giro d'Italia 1966 gewann und ein Jahr zuvor bereits 3. bei der Tour de France wurde. Motta legte während seiner aktiven Karriere schon immer viel Wert auf sein Material und war stets offen für Neuerungen. Daher verwunderte es kaum, dass er im Jahr 1976 direkt am Anschluss an seine aktive Karriere Räder und seinem Namen bauen ließ.

Das hier vorgestellte "Personal" ist das absolute Premium - Rad aus seiner Werkstatt aus der Zeit. Markant für diese leichten Columbus SL Rahmen sind die extrem dünnen und stark gefeilten Muffen sowie der kantige Gabelkopf. Motta Rahmen erarbeiteten sich schnell den Ruf qualitativ sehr hochwertig, leicht und steif zu sein. Gianni Motta erkannte auch recht früh den wachsenden Markt für den Rennradsport in den USA und startete früh ein Sponsoring dort. Dieses Personal ist aus dem Jahre 1984. Radsport Brügelmann vertrieb diese Rahmen damals exklusiv in Deutschland. Das nackte Rahmenset war teurer als beispielsweise ein Colnago "Super" Rahmen. Das Rahmenset ist in den belgischen Landesfarben lackiert und in einem herausragenden neuwertigen originalen Zustand. Der Erstbesitzer ist auf seiner Rennmaschine kaum gefahren. Das Rad war im laut eigener Aussage "immer zu schade zum Fahren und wenn ich ehrlich bin, wollte ich auch immer Radfahrer, war dann aber doch zu faul" So könnte ich dieses Rad im komplett originalen Brügelmann Auslieferungszustand erwerben. Selbst die Brügelmann Trinkflasche ist noch vorhanden. Der Erstbesitzer erzählte, dass das Rad wahrscheinlich keine 100km gefahren wurde. Geraden an den Lagern (Innenlager, Tretlager), die perfekt laufen, kann man die geringe Nutzung spüren. Toll in diesem Rad sind auch die dezent pantographierten Teile wie Sattelstütze und Vorbau. Der Campagnolo Super Record Aufbau war 1984 das absolut beste Profimaterial - hier sogar noch mit Hochflanschnaben, Regina Oro Schraubkranz und Kette. Die originalen Campagnolo Record Pedale mit Haken und Riemen sind natürlich auch mit dabei.

Gianni Motta is a former professional cyclist who, among other things, won the Giro d'Italia in 1966 and a year earlier was already 3rd in the Tour de France. During his active career, Motta always attached great importance to his material and was always open to innovations. Therefore, it was hardly surprising that in 1976, directly following his active career, he had wheels and his name built.
The "Personal" presented here is the absolute premium - wheel from his workshop from the time. Distinctive for these lightweight Columbus SL frames are the extremely thin and heavily filed lugs and the angular fork crown. Motta frames quickly gained a reputation for being very high quality, light and stiff. Gianni Motta also recognized quite early the growing market for road cycling in the U.S. and started an early sponsorship there. This staff is from 1984. Radsport Brügelmann distributed these frames exclusively in Germany at that time. The bare frameset was more expensive than, say, a Colnago "Super" frame. The frameset is painted in the Belgian national colors and is in outstanding mint original condition. The first owner has hardly ridden on his racing machine. The bike was im according to his own statement "always too bad to ride and if I'm honest, I also always wanted cyclists, but then was too lazy" So I could acquire this bike in completely original Brügelmann delivery condition. Even the Brügelmann water bottle is still present. The first owner told that the wheel was probably not driven 100km. Straight at the bearings (inner bearing, bottom bracket), which run perfectly, you can feel the low use. Great in this bike are also the discreet pantographed parts such as seatpost and stem. The Campagnolo Super Record setup was the absolute best professional material in 1984 - here even still with high flange hubs, Regina Oro screw rim and chain. The original Campagnolo Record pedals with hooks and straps are of course also included.
