Bianchi ist das älteste noch existierende Fahrradunternehmen der Welt, das 1885 von Eduardo Bianchi in Mailand, Italien, gegründet wurde. Mit dem Namen und dem typischen "Celeste" verbindet wohl jeder, der den Radsport und alte Rennmaschinen liebt, etwas.

In der gesamten 135-jährigen Geschichte von Bianchi stellen die Namen "Campione del mondo" und etwas später dann die "Specialissima"-Modelle den Höhepunkt der Straßenmaschinen-Legende dar. Die "Specialissima"-Rahmen wurden Ende der 1950er Jahre als Nachfolger des berühmten Modells "Campione del mondo" eingeführt und sind bis heute Bianchis Topmodelle.

Anfang der 1970er Jahre kehrte Bianchi als Hauptsponsor des Bianchi-Campagnolo-Teams in das Profi-Peloton zurück. Die Mannschaft war die Fortsetzung der Mannschaft Salvarani unter der Leitung von Vittorio Adorni, dem Sieger des Giro d'Italia von 1965 und Weltmeister von 1968. Die Mannschaft Bianchi-Campagnolo war damals eine der stärksten Mannschaften mit den Weltmeistern Marino Basso und Felice Gimondi 1972 und 1973 an Bord.

Das hier vorgestellte Bianchi Reparto Corse aus extra leichten Columbus TXS Rohren aus den frühen Neunzigern ist in einem tollen Zustand. Für mich zählen diese Bianchi Rahmen zu den letzten "vernünftigen" Stahlrahmen, die damals bei Bianchi gebaut wurden. Der Columbus TXS Rohrsatz hat ganz tolle Fahreigenschaften und ist eine Weiterentwicklung des berühmten SLX. Der toll gemuffte Rahmen, mit der eleganten Zugverlegung im Oberrohr, ist auch gleichzeitig einer der letzten Generationen der berühmten Reparto Corse Rahmenbauabteilung für Rennmaschinen bei Bianchi. Besonders zu erwähnen bei diesem Rahmen sind die aerodynamischen Sitzstreben, die der Rahmen noch aus den X4 Modellen übernommen hat. Auch hier findet man die Bianchi Gravur in der Brücke der Befestigung für die Hinterradbremse und auf der Tretlagermuffe. Speziell ist auch der Startnummernhalter am Oberrohr.

Aufgebaut ist der Rahmen mit einer nahezu kompletten Campagnolo Croce d' Aune Gruppe. Die größte Besonderheit der seltenen Gruppe liegt wohl beim Schaltwerk. Die Verschiebung des Parallelogramms erfolgt über die Pleuelstange. Oberhalb der Schaltwerksbefestigungsschraube sind die Begrenzerschrauben. Das ist hier möglich, da dieser kleine "Balken" über der Befestigungsschraube die Kraft vom Zug zur Pleuelstange überträgt. Der Balken bewegt sich mit, und dadurch kann die Reichweite des Schaltwerks begrenzt werden. Hohe Ingenieurskunst, die sich aber am Ende auch bei Campa nicht durchgesetzt hat.

Die Delta Bremsen dieser Gruppe sind auch ein wenig anders im Vergleich zur C-Record. Bei der Croce d' Aune liegen die Feder außen.

Insgesamt ein toller Klassiker mit besten Fahreigenschaften und seltener Campagnolo Croce d' Aune Gruppe.

Auf diesem Rad kann man auch heute noch sportlich unterwegs sein und zieht garantiert bei jedem Halt an der Eisdiele alle Blicke auf sich!

Bianchi Reparto Corse 1992 - Campagnolo Croce d'Aune 57cm

Bianchi is the oldest surviving bicycle company in the world, founded in Milan, Italy, in 1885 by Eduardo Bianchi. The name and the iconic "Celeste" color are deeply associated with anyone who loves cycling and vintage racing machines.Throughout its 135-year history, Bianchi's "Campione del mondo" and later the "Specialissima" models represent the pinnacle of the road bike legend. The "Specialissima" frames were introduced in the late 1950s as successors to the famous "Campione del mondo" model and remain Bianchi's top models to this day.In the early 1970s, Bianchi returned to the professional peloton as the main sponsor of the Bianchi-Campagnolo team. The team was the continuation of the Salvarani team under the leadership of Vittorio Adorni, winner of the 1965 Giro d'Italia and the 1968 World Champion. The Bianchi-Campagnolo team was one of the strongest teams at the time, with World Champions Marino Basso and Felice Gimondi on board in 1972 and 1973.

The Bianchi Reparto Corse presented here, made from extra-light Columbus TXS tubes from the early nineties, is in excellent condition. For me, these Bianchi frames represent the last "reasonable" steel frames built by Bianchi at that time. The Columbus TXS tubing offers excellent riding characteristics and is an evolution of the famous SLX. The beautifully lugged frame, with elegant cable routing on the top tube, is also one of the last generations of the famous Reparto Corse framebuilding department for racing bikes at Bianchi. Particularly noteworthy on this frame are the aerodynamic seat stays, which the frame inherited from the X4 models. The Bianchi engraving can also be found on the bridge of the rear brake attachment and on the bottom bracket shell. The number plate holder on the top tube is also a special feature.The frame is built with an almost complete Campagnolo Croce d'Aune groupset. The most notable feature of this rare groupset is perhaps the rear derailleur. The parallelogram movement is actuated by the connecting rod. Above the rear derailleur mounting screw are the limit screws. This is possible here because the small "beam" above the mounting screw transfers the force from the cable to the connecting rod. The beam moves with it, allowing the range of the rear derailleur to be limited. High engineering, but ultimately not adopted by Campagnolo.The Delta brakes of this groupset are also slightly different compared to the C-Record. In the Croce d'Aune, the springs are located externally.

 Overall, a fantastic classic with excellent riding characteristics and a rare Campagnolo Croce d'Aune groupset.

 With this bike, you can still enjoy a sporty ride today and will certainly turn heads at every stop at the ice cream parlor!
