Albuch Kotter "Racing Team" - Shimano 600 - 57cm
In 1979 Konrad Kotter started to sponsor a German cycling team. Bikes came from Italy - mostly from Romani and were raced under the name Kondor. From the early eighties Kotter then built his own factory in Böhmenkirch on the Swabian Alp and manufactured frames himself under the name Albuch Kotter. Especially in southern Germany, these high-quality frames had a good reputation. The top models were called Albuch Kotter "Racing Team".
The bike presented here is one of these models. The previous owner had one repainted, but then never rode it again. The wheel is made of high quality, not quite round Oria tubes, has a brake cable running in the top tube and a high-quality Cinelli bottom bracket sleeve, which Kotter purchased exclusively from Italy.
The bike is built with Shimano 600 Ultega components. This groupset is indestructible with a little care! A high quality wheelset with Mavic rims and Campagnolo hubs plus Challenge Paris-Roubaix tires in 28mm make this bike a high quality and faithful companion.
